In this session, Rich Gibbons is joined by Oleksiy Akimov, Cloud Cost Management Lead at Deloitte, to discuss getting started with managing the IaaS cloud – particularly Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google GCP. Reducing cloud spend is a key priority for 2021 and if you can get started without any additional spending – even better!
We’ll be looking at the freely available management tools that are built into those platforms – what are their strengths and weaknesses, what new features are being added, and how their capabilities align to ITAM. We will also consider how these tools match up to IaaS cloud maturity levels and at what point a paid for tool might be required.
