About this event

Join Rich Gibbons and AJ Witt from The ITAM Review on Thursday 8th December 2022 at 2pm GMT for the ITAM Review Audits Online Summit.

License compliance audits continue to be a focus for software publishers and for ITAM professionals across the globe. They consistently rank highly as an area that consumes focus, time, effort, and money for many customer organizations – although the rise of cloud continues apace, so too do the complexities of license compliance, particularly across hybrid environments.

Vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM continue to create new, and modify existing, license rules for on-premises software and how it can be used in various cloud environments. They also continue to police usage of their products in purely on-premises environments, meaning the scope for potential non-compliance has increased and “legacy” environments cannot be ignored.

This is the case even more so for vendors such as OpenText / Micro Focus and Quest where audits appear to comprise a significant part of their revenue generation strategy. With a range of tactics and approaches available, it remains key for ITAM professionals to have a good understanding of the market and a comprehensive audit prevention/defence strategy.

Join Rich & AJ as they discuss the latest on a range of audit and governance topics including:
  • License compliance
  • Acquisitions
  • Cloud challenges
  • New audit threats
  • and more……
