software licensing savings using software asset management

Osmose Holdings sought a automated software asset management system following a ‘True-Up’ of it Microsoft licensing.

The Wood Management specialists vowed “never again” to negotiating their Enterprise Agreement without first analysing their software estate and quickly demonstrated value by reducing their Microsoft Enterprise Agreement by 125 licenses. Osmose Holdings were having difficulty managing complex license types such as Microsoft Developers Network and used Managesoft’s ECM solution to deliver the savings.

Ongoing savings are projected to made by license reharvesting, vendor maintenance renewals, and optimizing new software purchases.
