Wisdom Online APAC 2021 - Call for speakers
That’s right – it’s what you’ve been waiting for…we’re back with our second Wisdom Online conference in the APAC region on 24th & 25th November!
If you’ve got a great story, we want to hear it…and so do all the attendees! ITAM is a wide-ranging industry and we welcome session submissions on any aspect you think will be interesting and useful. We want to have a great mix of content, both in terms of content and “difficulty” – we’re looking for content that will help those at the start of their ITAM career but also content that will help experienced ITAM practitioners take it to the next level and/or add a new string to their bow.
Suggested topics, based on feedback, include:
- Managing audits
- Engaging with stakeholders and execs
- Building an ITAM team
- Cloud cost management (IaaS/SaaS)
- Open Source licensing & management
- FinOps and Cloud Economics
- Creating and managing a CMDB
- Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
- IT Asset Disposal (ITAD)
- Security & ITAM
- Creating relevant dashboards and reports
- Legal & contract management
- Tier 1 vendors – Microsoft/SAP/Oracle/IBM
- Tier 2 vendors i.e. Micro Focus/Quest/Autodesk etc.
We believe that hearing from people with a wide range of experiences helps everyone improve so, as well as all our awesome ITAM/SAM/Licensing speakers, we’re also looking for sessions from those in “ITAM-adjacent” roles – things like Procurement, Security, Finance, Legal, FinOps and so on. If that’s you, or perhaps a colleague, make sure to submit the session idea below!
