“Flexera has long admired Snow’s great products, customer value realization, talented employees, partner ecosystem, and active customer community. Flexera and Snow share harmonious company cultures, missions, and long-term strategies. Together, we will continue to deliver market leading solutions that address optimizing spend in a world of inflating costs, minimizing risks despite increasing threats and new regulations, and navigating ongoing uncertainty.”
Flexera stated it is “committed to delivering solutions to the market that solve critical business problems related to technology spend and risk today and into the future. The SAM, ITAM and FinOps expertise of our combined customer base is extraordinary and will make us all stronger. Our collective partner network is unsurpassed in the level and range of services they provide to our customers.”
Flexera will continue to innovate, enhance, maintain, and support both Flexera and Snow solutions. Global partners will have even more support as Flexera will continue to work with partners of both Flexera and Snow, including those that offer hosted options.
What does the acquisition mean for Flexera and Snow customers?
“It is business as usual,” according to the official press release. Customers should not expect major changes, with Flexera maintaining Snow’s and Flexera’s already published product roadmaps.
At least for the time being. It will be interesting to see how the roadmap will change in the future, as some areas will inevitably consolidate as they look to streamline the offering and remove duplication in the portfolio.
