We’re pleased to announce details of more of our confirmed conference speakers at our upcoming US conference in Florida on 19th & 20th September and UK conference in London on 4th & 5th October.

Richard Spithoven, Director – b.lay

Richard Spithoven will be presenting on day two at both the UK & the US conferences.

Richard’s plenary session ‘Are you the next sitting duck that will be moved to the Oracle Cloud as a result of an audit?‘ will be followed by his interactive workshop on Oracle Audit Defence.

Richard joined b.lay; ITAM Review Partner of the Year 2015, as a managing-partner in September 2013. Richard uses his knowledge of the previous 8 1⁄2 years in Oracle License Management Services to educate, equip and enable software end-users in their challenges with regards to proper software license management. Richard started in October 2005 as an Oracle Licensing Consultant, after which he fulfilled the role of Regional LMS Director for the Europe South region (including Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy and Portugal) for a period of 4 1⁄2 years. In this role, Richard managed a team of 40 licensing consultants and was responsible for setting the strategic direction of the LMS organization. Richard holds a master degree in IT, from the University of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.

Speaking at both the US & UK Conferences on day one, in their plenary presentation; ‘ITAM Success Story‘, Tony Crawley and Gillian Leicester – co-founders of ITAM Review’s 2015 double award winners Synyega, draw upon their vast experience to share their knowledge of SAM in the field, outlining what can be achieved when SAM, technical and commercial expertise are aligned.

Synyega will discuss how SAM remains relevant and compelling, for CIOs and IT organisations, against the  backdrop of a dysfunctional software market and the disruptive changes impacting the IT industry.

• Identifying key changes in Microsoft’s licensing policies
• How not to get caught in Microsoft’s traps
• Strategies for renewing SLAs with Microsoft
• How Microsoft’s other new cloud offerings change how you negotiate with them
• Getting everything right at contract to reduce the possibility of an audit

Currently leading the delivery team at Method 180, Mike brings more than 15 years of Microsoft licensing experience to his clients’ projects. He assists companies from Fortune 500 to organizations with as few as 500 employees, with negotiations of Microsoft Enterprise Agreements (EA), Premier Support Contracts and Select Agreements.
