An interesting new concept from Paglo who are turning conventional IT Asset Management Reporting on it’s head by offering a “Search Engine for IT”. The California based startup is offering “inventory management, network management and software audits of IT environments” on a SaaS basis. This level of flexibility in reporting could be useful in other ITAM tool sets, but I am uncertain how many IT Managers will want to install a “crawler” onto their network for indexing (However we might have said the same of the SaaS model as few years ago!).
