Raynet One Earns Inventory & Discovery Certification

We’re happy to announce Raynet One (formerly Raynet RayVentory) has met the requirements for Inventory & Discovery Certification in accordance with the ITAM Review’s community-sourced open standard.

ITAM industry veteran Raynet’s approach to addressing ITAM use cases has always been engineering led. It has focused on making sense of data from a wide variety of sources and then using that foundational, trustworthy data to inform decision making for cost management, risk management, audit response, and so on. Their products, now unified into Raynet One, enable Raynet to meet current customer requirements such as data analytics, visualisation, and automation.

ISO 19770 states that good ITAM starts with trustworthy data, and that’s exactly what this solution provides.

The ITAM Review Certification Process

ITAM Review product certifications are designed to inform ITAM teams about the suitability of ITAM tools and services. You can find all ITAM Review certified tools and service here.

Any tool or service provider can apply to have its product(s) certified against our standards. The certification process consists of the following:

• Detailed Questionnaire
• Demo/Q&A with ITAM Forum Analyst
• ITAM Forum Analyst interviews with 2 customer references

By taking this approach, we get to see the tool in action from the experts and also verify that it “does what it says on the tin” in real-world usage. We find the customer references to be invaluable in estimating real-world return on investment.

The output from the process is a certification that is valid for two years – assuming of course, the product meets the criteria. A comprehensive analyst report is provided along with a certification certificate.
