Martin Thompson, Owner & Founder, The ITAM Review
Martin is owner and founder of The ITAM Review, an online resource and community for worldwide ITAM professionals.
Martin is an independent ITAM consultant for organizations seeking independent guidance on ITAM strategy or ITAM tool selection. Martin also reviews tools, technology and services in the ITAM market.
On a voluntary basis Martin is the Chief Agitator at the Campaign for Clear Licensing, a contributor to ISO WG21 which develops the SAM International Standard ISO/IEC 19770 and board member of Free ICT Europe which supports the ICT secondary market.
Daniel Galecki, Senior Product Manager, Flexera
Daniel was born in Poland and immigrated with his parents to Canada in 1985.
He holds Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
Daniel has worked in Computer Software industry since 1995, when he began his career with MKS Inc. (Waterloo, Ontario, Canada) in sales and pre-sales roles. After moving to Novadigm Inc. (Mahwah, NJ, USA), he continued working in pre-sales capacity until after 2004 HP acquisition of Novadigm. In 2007, Daniel moved into Product Management, where he managed various products delivering software distribution and inventory management solutions. Daniel became Product Line Manager for HP Asset Manager in 2010, managing the product until his departure in late 2014. Daniel is currently a Senior Product Manager at Flexera, managing various components of its Software License Optimization solution, with focus on Cloud Strategy.
He is an active contributor to IAITAM and is particularly focused on impact of Cloud adoption on IT Asset Management.
Daniel lives with his wife and children outside of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
