As most of you are aware, The ITAM Review have been raising money for Sebastian’s Action Trust for the past few years as it is a charity close to our hearts. The trust provides a holiday home for children with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses, giving them the opportunity for a respite break with family and loved ones, in a purpose-built facility.
Building on our £10K charity total from 2016, we had a target of £14K for 2017. I’m pleased to say that we exceeded that target and raised a grand total of £17,328! (23% over target).
Here’s how we achieved it:
On the 10th November 2017, we hosted our third Gala Dinner in aid of the Trust, where winners of The ITAM Review Excellence Awards 2017 were announced. ITAM Professionals from around the globe joined us to celebrate the achievements of the true pioneers in the ITAM industry. The event was a great success filled with lots good food, music and even a pub quiz!
You can view the winners of last years Excellence Awards here.
On 30th October 2017, Martin began his 5 day trek along the famous Great Wall of China. The trek consisted of 40 miles and a mind boggling 700 floors were climbed, equivalent to climbing the steps of the Empire State Building seven times over. Well done, Martin!

On 24th January 2018, a number of companies in the industry competed for the winners trophy and bragging rights in The ITAM Review Cup 2018. The race was a close one but Flexera took the lead with 10 minutes to go – Congratulations guys.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone that helped and contributed over the past year. All 3 events were a great success and we’re thrilled with the amount raised, as this will go a long way at the Trust.
